I was born and raised in East Tennessee to a physician father and a musician mother and I never could choose between the two disciplines. Thus began my journey leaning into the “and” in my name. I studied the Arts and Sciences at the University of TN while combining both studies into “Andy and the Beats”. I pursued my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Mercer in Atlanta and continue to perform in community and regional musical theatre productions. I write protocols, update manuals, and practice medicine and create art that matters and has an underlying teaching element to each piece.
I have learned that everyone’s experience is unique and everyone has a story. So, here is mine.
